We've been clowning around the cottages!

Our residents delighted in the antics of Joey's Clowns in late January. Here, Joey cleans himself off after taking a pie in his face. Joey and his entourage of 9 clowns clodhoppered and twinkle-toed from cottage to cottage eliciting smiles and laughter along the way.  In tune with our first quarter's Alive in all Seasons theme of exploring creative expression, Joey's Clowns provided antics, mimes, and music while engaging our residents.

Residents in all cottages enjoyed the
entertainment ~ including Terri L.

Some of Joey's clowns brought their very low-maintenance "pets" to delight and entertain residents like Gusti L.  Juniper Village is blessed with amazing volunteers like  Lil Brownie (R).

A Special Visit From Santa

Santa, aka Angel Morenga, Environmental Services Director, and his elf, Julie B., Connections Director, distributed gifts donated to our residents by our friends at Home Instead Senior Care through their Be A Santa to a Senior program. Every one of our residents received three gifts that had been put on Santa's wish list especially for them by Julie B. We all enjoyed goodies and drinks from our Juniper kitchen courtesy of Steven;  A great time was had by all! Many thanks to our kind and generous friends who helped us Celebrate the Little Things by supporting the Be A Santa to a Senior program.
