Residents Discover Their Inner Monet

As we endeavor to provide a wealth of opportunities for creative expression, on May 11th Juniper Village at Naples hosted an Art Without Boundaries workshop. This program, managed by Mneme Therapist Katherine Kelly, integrates reminiscence therapy with exercises in manual dexterity to create a fulfilling experience for our residents. Not only does the program provide a beautiful original piece of artwork, it also enables residents to unlock memories from their past.  Save the date, September 22nd, for our second annual Resident Art Show and Sale where you may purchase an original Art Without Boundaries masterpiece

1st Annual Chili Cook-Off

Over 100 supporters with healthy appetites came to experience the culinary delights of Juniper Village at Naples and Vi at Bentley Village's 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off on May 12th.  Contestants included the North Naples and Bonita Springs Fire Departments and chefs from Vi at Bentley Village and Juniper Village at Naples. The stringent competition was judged by Bonita Springs Mayor Ben Nelson, Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce CEO Christine Ross, and Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk.  Much to our chagrin, the Bonita Springs Fire Department won 1st prize in the competition.  Proceeds from this lively event will benefit the community service projects of both fire departments.
This event spotlights our Partners in Caring, integrating families and professionals into the everyday rhythms of our communities.  After all, it really does take a village.

Juniper Village at Naples has Gone Wild!

Creatures and critters of all kinds visited the residents of Juniper Village at Naples on Tuesday, May 10th. The non-profit education facility, Kowiachobee Animal Preserve, from Golden Gate Estates brought endangered and exotic animals to delight the residents. This informational, hands-on event allowed us to reconnect with nature. Our Connections Program is committed to providing a plethora of eclectic events that support our mission to nuture the spirit of life through the encouragement of active bodies, engaged minds, and fulfilled spirit.
