October Birthday Bunch

Juniper Village at Naples honored their residents that celebrated October birthdays.  Five residents feasted with family and friends at a special luncheon.  This month the menu featured fall delicacies and of course birthday cake!  Our monthly birthday parties are just one way we Nurture the Spirit of Life by remembering the special days in our Residents lives.

Juniper Village at Naples Adopts a Marine for the Holidays

Santa's elves were very busy at Juniper Village at Naples.  They gathered, wrapped and packed many sundries and gifts for their adopted Marine. Corporal Spenser B. Turner stationed in Afghanistan for his second tour was adopted in September of 2011 by the staff and residents of Juniper.Spenser is scheduled to return February of 2012.  Happy Holidays and Semper Fi! 







Harvest Moon Celebration

Juniper Village at Naples welcomed fall with a Harvest Moon celebration.  Married residents and their spouses enjoyed a 4 course luncheon or a formal dinner ball.  Live entertainment was provided by Perry Fotos and Glenn Williams.  Each couple provided the name of "their song" which was played at the event.  Juniper and the Connections department recognizes the importance of spousal relationships and continues to nurture these relations throughout their stay at our community.

Pastor John Visits Weekly

Pastor John from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Bonita visits Juniper every Thursday. This week children from the youth group attended to read and entertain our residents.  The children left with treat bags prepared by our residents. This spiritual program is enhanced by the entire congregation of the church.  Other church members include harpists, pianists, guitarists and singers which have all preformed at this faith based program. Thank you again Pastor John and your congregation!

Juniper Village Hosts a Salad Bar Extravaganza

Juniper Village transformed their community room into a delicious salad and baked potato bar.  Over forty people attended the fund raiser where the proceeds went to "The Walk To End Alzheimer's".  The walk is scheduled for October 15th at Saint Ann School in Naples.  The prewalk activities begin at 8 a.m. with the step off at 9 a.m.  To sign up visit alz.org/walk or call 1.800.272.3900.
