The Arts and Alzheimer's

Juniper Village at Naples' residents were ecstatic to be invited to the Philharmonic Center for the Arts six week program Arts and Alzheimer's. This innovative program under the direction of Bernadette La Paglia, R N, BSN, M.Ed. allows people challenged with Alzheimer's and other associated dementias to participate in the artistic experience. "Often times, people afflicted with diseases such as Alzheimer's are factored out of the loop of such grand objectives -but 'The Arts' are all inclusive," La Paglia said. "The intent of this unique program is to empathize -first and foremost- and then to demonstrate and validate such capabilities." Please feel free to stop by and see their accomplishments.

Let's Go Fly a Kite

Juniper Village at Naples, residents enjoyed these past few breezy May days flying kites. Our Connections department strives to keep our
daily physical activity programs fresh and lively. What a great way to stay fit and reminisce about childhood days than to get behind a kite.

Mother's Day Tree Planting

Juniper Village at Naples' Garden Club celebrated Mother's Day by planting a Jasmin Tree. Roses may come and go but with a lot of tender love and care this tree will live on. The beautiful foliage and fragrant blossoms will be a constant reminder of the love, honor and respect we have for all of our others. Wonder what is in store for Father's Day?
