Juniper Village at Naples launched our Music & Memory
Program in 2015. A little less than a year later more than half of our
residents have their very own personalized music downloaded to an iPod thanks
to some very generous donations. This music elicits positive memories and
stimulates the brain to recognize familiar experiences. Music is the universal
language and one that we can share together.
We have the opportunity to witness the individual moments of
joy with our residents. In this picture,
you will see our resident Joyce enjoying a color sensory tile while indulging
in some personalized music.
